While many firms are divided into studios specializing in specific market sectors, every architectural professional on the AG Team has experience designing places where people live. AG offers a portfolio of award-winning senior living, multifamily and mixed use projects across the country. Due to this focused expertise, the firm structure is organized with the architectural process in mind. AG offers a dedicated design team, an engineering team, and two project management teams. This organizational structure supports the firm’s commitment to Bright Vision. Bold Communities. It is how the AG Team provides vision, builds consensus and delivers certainty and predictability.

Senior Associates Andy Korb and Dave Trinkner are the Team Leads for one of AG’s dynamic project management teams.

Andy Korb, AIA

With over 25 years of experience in design, construction documents and project management, Andy is committed to balancing creativity with technical detail. From financial, office, retail and historic renovation projects to senior living and multifamily communities, he is recognized for his leadership and successful project delivery. As a LEED Accredited Professional, Andy is dedicated to infusing sustainable design concepts in every project to create high-quality buildings that respect the environment.

Dave Trinkner

Dave brings over 20 years of experience in the design of places where people live. From student housing to affordable and market-rate multi-family complexes to senior living communities, he understands the nuances of each project type from a development perspective. He guides projects from concept through completion while looking out for the best interests of his clients. Dave leads internal and external team members, working collaboratively to achieve the project goals and overcome any day-to-day construction issues or design challenges along the way.

Korb and Trinkner use their knowledge and experience to guide and mentor their team and promote a collaborative process focused on making a project vision a construction reality. From working with the design team during the conceptual design phase and producing highly detailed construction documents to thorough construction management, the Korb-Trinkner team upholds AG’s commitment to certainty and predictability.

“For many of our clients, the design and construction process is unfamiliar and can be daunting,” says Korb. “Certainty and predictability to me means providing our clients with the information they need to make decisions through all project phases. At AG, our level of detail and communication eliminates surprises and ultimately meets their project goals.”

Trinkner adds, “We meet our client’s expectations because we work hard to ensure everyone on our team is on the same page and working towards the same end result.”

When asked about the strengths of their team, Korb and Trinkner emphasize the group’s strong communication and camaraderie. “They are a fun, kind and caring group of people who enjoy working together,” describes Trinkner. “They also each have a willingness to teach. Those who are more experienced share knowledge with the young professionals, or when someone learns something new, they are excited to share tools or lessons learned with other team members.”

Korb agrees, “Not only do they work hard to help the project meet the deadline, but they encourage each other and teach each other along the way. This elevates each individual’s skills and experiences while making the team even stronger to tackle the next challenge.” Furthermore, he admires their ability to be flexible, adapting to changing schedules and project needs on a day-to-day basis and having the confidence to work through project challenges smoothly.

Korb and Trinkner are confident in their team and want clients to know they can count on the team’s positivity and consistency. They believe success comes from good communication between team members, a consistent approach to the process and a focus on the client’s needs and project goals.
