AG is recognized nationally as a leading architectural firm in the senior living industry. Our clients appreciate the senior living expertise every AG team member brings to a project. This knowledge and experience has made members of our Leadership Team sought-after thought leaders for presentations and panels at industry conferences.
AG Architecture proudly supports the UWM School of Architecture & Urban Planning (SARUP). Gene Guszkowski was one of the initial graduates of the program and numerous members of the AG Team are UWM alum, including Andrew Alden, John Cronin, Russ McLaughlin and Eric Harrmann. Gene, Andrew, John, Russ and Eric had the opportunity to share their passion for senior living with the UWM SARUP students during a Design for Aging presentation. They explained the roots of this design niche and its evolution as a housing model as well as the trends shaping the future of senior living.
In November 2020, BizTimes Media presented a senior living webcast—Senior Living and Legacy Planning: What are your options? AG’s Eric Harrmann and Andrew Alden joined Deanne Phillips of Annex Wealth Management and Luci Klebar of Saint John’s on the Lake to discuss misconceptions in senior living, what to look for in a senior living community, and financial planning strategies for your own retirement or your aging parents.
Eric Harrmann and Andrew Alden served as presenters at the 2020 virtual experience for the LeadingAge Florida Annual Conference and were joined by Russ McLaughlin for a virtual presentation at the Wisconsin Department of Health Services, Division of Quality Assurance FOCUS 2020 Conference. Another highlight of 2020 was Eric serving as the moderator of a panel on Designing in the Aftermath of COVID-19 at the Argentum Senior Living Executive Conference.
Stay tuned for more AG presentations in 2021.
