AG is pleased to announce the addition of two new Senior Associates to the AG Leadership Team—Hailey Schwobe and Justin Koeppler.

Hailey Schwobe, AIA

Schwobe began her career at AG upon completing her Master of Architecture at the University of Wisconsin – Milwaukee (UWM). She was project management focused from the start. Her drive and leadership skills have been evident throughout her professional development over the past ten years. Schwobe is a valued and trusted team member respected by colleagues and clients. In 2021, she was honored as a Daily Reporter Newsmaker. She is currently serving as Project Manager on the strategic, multi-phased repositioning and renovation of Eastcastle Place, a highly regarded senior living community in the Milwaukee area with historically significant buildings. Schwobe is also managing the construction of a 138,000-sq-ft assisted living and memory care project in West Dundee, Ill. Clients and team members appreciate her knowledge, attention to detail and exceptional communication skills.

“Hailey has been a strong project manager that understands and does her work with a holistic approach,” says Chief Operating Officer Tracey Schnick. “From business development and office management to the nuts and bolts of contracts and legal matters, she has a well-rounded understanding of firm operations that is invaluable. She is invested in the success of every aspect of our business.”
These skills made her an ideal candidate for advancement within the firm to Senior Associate, and she is recognized as a team member who will play a key leadership role for years to come. When it comes to supporting the future of AG in her role as Senior Associate, Schwobe sees parallels between her project management experience and what she hopes to add to the leadership of the firm. “Project success relies on our ability to recognize and listen to the multiple inputs and different voices coming into a single project,” says Schwobe. “Likewise, there are a lot of different players inside the company as well as outside. It is important to be able to channel the different goals and perspectives in a singular, focused direction. I look forward to helping build consensus around firm goals just as I have been able to foster a collaborative approach with project teams to achieve client goals.”
“No matter the design challenge, Justin’s leadership in the design process creates opportunities for innovative solutions,” describes Harrmann. “Not only is he committed to elevating the user experience, but he also strives to foster a collaborative design process with clients and team members. We look forward to having his insights and leadership supporting the overall growth of the firm as a Senior Associate.”

Justin Koeppler

Koeppler’s career path also began at AG upon graduation from UWM with a Master of Architecture. It was clear from day one that his design thinking and visualization skills would be an asset to the AG Design Team. With each year, he has taken on more and more responsibility and multiple long-term client relationships have been entrusted to his leadership. Koeppler believes in expanding viewpoints, and he works with team members to explore the possibilities of spatial relationships and material options. He combines his construction knowledge with his visualization skills to present client solutions that are innovative and buildable. His design leadership role is clearly exemplified by AG’s ongoing project work with Fiduciary Real Estate Development (FRED). As Eric Harrmann transitioned into firm leadership and his Chief Design Officer role, Koeppler stepped in to manage this valued client relationship.

He has played a key role in the successful development of a scalable and repeatable multifamily housing product for FRED. The developer has collaborated with AG on the introduction of Seasons in communities across Wisconsin and Illinois. Koeppler helps ensure the design of each community satisfies specific market demands while considering ways to enhance the housing product, from unit designs to amenity spaces, at each iteration. In his leadership role, Koeppler wants to continue to push the creative boundaries of the Design Team, exploring concepts that reinforce the firm’s reputation as lifestyle experts. “From the beginning, AG has expanded my view on the design of senior living communities,” says Koeppler. “I want to continue to dig into interesting design opportunities for encouraging social engagement no matter the project type. And I want to make sure our ideas and our projects continue to gain more exposure, so the firm is truly sought after for our lifestyle expertise.”
