New AG employees jump into project work and become a seamless part of the team. While they have already been impacting project success, we want to take this opportunity to officially introduce Melissa Torres and Edgar Enriquez.

Melissa Torres

AG is excited to have another UWM alum as part of the architectural team. The addition of Melissa continues the firm’s Panther Pride. While she brings valuable experience from other local firms, she also offers a global perspective due to her study abroad experiences in Cuba and Japan. She explored the intersection of architecture, science, and technology during a 2016 trip to Japan—Historic Preservation in a High-Tech Country. She delved into urban planning strategies with a 2017 trip to Cuba—Understanding Cuban Urbanism in Havana.

Melissa is digging into the construction side of the process at AG, merging her design sensibility with a deeper knowledge of construction. She values the holistic perspective and the focus on designing with intention to ensure constructability.

“I love Melissa’s commitment to the projects she works on. She has a strong desire to learn all aspects of Architecture which makes her a great asset to the AG Team,” says AG Senior Associate Dave Trinkner. “She is extremely detail-oriented and a joy to work with.”

AG Design Team member Andrew Alden agrees, “Melissa has been an excellent addition to the AG Team. She is very collaborative, detail-oriented and inquisitive. She asks thoughtful questions at key moments in the process to keep the project moving forward. Her interest in contemporary design supports the team’s continued exploration of innovative solutions to senior living environments.”

Fun Fact: In 2016 Melissa was a semifinalist in a competition to redesign the Milwaukee Flag.

Edgar Enriquez

Edgar Enriquez

Edgar also adds a global perspective to the AG Team. He is a dedicated architectural drafter with an extensive background in project production, construction documents, 3D modeling, rendering and animation. For over 19 years, Edgar worked in architectural firms in Singapore, Guam and the Philippines (where he was born and raised) before spending over 14 years with another local Milwaukee firm.

His experience spans market sectors, including everything from luxury retail and hospitality projects to condominiums. From a sports complex in Guam and a Four Season’s in Cairo, Egypt to work with Louis Vuitton and Fendi, Edgar has been a reliable team member supporting the design and construction of high-profile structures.

Edgar enjoys the opportunity to bring his wealth of experience to the construction documentation of AG projects.

“Edgar joined our team almost a year ago in September of 2021 and we had him dive right in,” says AG Senior Associate and Team Lead Ann D’Acquisto, AIA. “He has been a wonderful addition to the team. He is ready to tackle any project task or challenge. We are grateful to have him.”
